Wellington Boudoir by Andy Barker is a boudoir photography business based in Wellington, New Zealand. I am responsible for the personal information you share through this website, by phone, by email and during your session. This policy explains what I collect, why, and the choices you have, in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

I only collect what I need to answer your enquiry and run your session:

• The details you give me when you enquire, such as your name, email address, phone number, preferred session and dates, and anything you choose to tell me in your message.
• Booking and payment details needed to confirm and pay for your session.
• The photographs and video taken during your session.
• Basic information about how visitors use this website (see "Analytics and cookies" below).

The enquiry form on this site is provided by Studio Ninja, the studio management system I use to manage enquiries, bookings and client communication. When you submit the form, your details go to Studio Ninja and to me. I read every enquiry personally and reply within one business day.

I use your details to answer your questions, plan and deliver your session, and send your gallery. I do not sell, rent or share your personal information with anyone for their own marketing.

Discretion is the heart of what I do. Your finished images are delivered to a private, password-protected gallery that only you can access.

Nothing from your session is ever posted publicly or used in any marketing, including this website and social media, without your explicit written consent. If you do give consent, you can tell me which images may be used and where, and you can withdraw that consent for future use at any time by getting in touch.

If you choose to pay with Afterpay, your application and repayments are handled directly by Afterpay under its own privacy policy.

This website uses Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how many people visit, which pages they read and whether the enquiry form is working. These tools use cookies and similar technology to collect information such as the pages you view, the device and browser you use, and roughly where you are browsing from. I do not use this information to identify you.

I do not use this information for remarketing or advertising that follows you around the web. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and the site will still work.

I take reasonable steps to protect your personal information and images from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. I keep your information only for as long as I need it for the purposes above, or as required by law.

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the personal information I hold about you and ask me to correct it. You can also ask me to delete your information or images where I no longer need to keep them. Just contact me using the details below and I will respond as soon as I can.
